In the backfield, Natalie was part of a defensive unit that posted eight shutouts throughout the season including six straight to begin the year. Using her speed to shut down the leftside, Natalie was able to get into the counterattack for the Tigers posting 11 shots on the season. For the second consecutive season, McCrackin was named to the Academic All-Big West Conference team for her work in the classroom.2005 (Sophomore):<br>Continuing her strong play for the Tigers in her second season of action, McCrackin started all 20 games for the Tigers in 2005. Proving to be one of the most versatile players for Pacific, Natalie was asked to strike ahead into the forward ranks, taking advantage of her superior ball handling skills and speed to create options for Pacific's offensive attack. McCrackin netted her first collegiate goal for the Tigers on October 7, in Pacific's 2-1 loss to UC Riverside. Natalie fired off a career-high 14 shots throughout the season, striking three shots on two different occasions including Pacific's 1-0 win over San Diego on September 25 and 1-0 loss to UC Davis on October 28. Off the field, McCrackin garnered her first Academic All-Big West Conference team recognition of her career.2004 (Freshman):<br>During her freshman season, Natalie started 13 of the 16 games in which she saw action. A speedy wing-defender and midfielder, McCrackin helped the Tigers to six defensive shutouts in 2004. On the offensive side of the field, Natalie fired off three shots in the Tigers' attack. Natalie took one shot in three different games, making attempts at the net against Saint Mary's, Drake and UC Riverside.High School:<br>Natalie attended Saint Francis High School in Sacramento, Calif., where she was a four-year letterwinner in soccer. In each of her four seasons, Natalie and the Troubadours won the Delta League championship. In 2001, 2003 and 2004, the team took the Sac-Joaquin Section championship. For her efforts during her senior season, Natalie was named to the all-league and all-city teams while also earning Co-MVP honors from her team. Off the field, Natalie was a National Merit Scholar.Club Team:<br>McCrackin has played for the San Juan Soccer Club and has been a member of the Northern California ODP team.Personal:<br>Born in Sacramento, Calif., she is the daughter of Tom and Susan McCrackin. Natalie has two brothers, Alex and Bernie. She plans to graduate with a degree in psychology and Spanish.
